PIPELINE SERVICES
We Al Ekhtebarat Engineering for Contracting Est. (EEC) provide a large range of Pre-Commissioning and commissioning Services like Cleaning & Gauging, Bolt Torquing, Chemical dossing, Water Filling, Chemical Cleaning, Hydro testing, Dewatering, Air Drying, Nitrogen Drying, Nitrogen Purging, Mothballing, De cruding, Demolishing, Shut down works on Mechanical & Civil, etc.. in any locations inside and outside Saudi Arabia by closely working with Clients with a cost effective solutions to complete the work in a safe and easy method.
PRE-COMMISSIONING SERVICES
Pipeline Pre-commissioning services is a process of providing the ability of a pipeline and piping systems to contain product without leakage. This product may be liquid , gaseous or multiphase hydrocarbons, water, steam, CO2, N2, Petrol, aviation fuel, etc.. Pre-Commissioning is the series of process carried out on the pipeline before the final product is introduced. The process during which the pipeline is made “live” i.e. the product is put in the pipeline, is called pipeline commissioning (or) start us.
PIPELINE CLEANING
Pipeline cleaning is carried out by pushing Pigs or gel Pigs through the pipeline to remove any debris build up or corrosions in the pipelines.
PNEUMATIC TESTING
Pneumatic Testing is a procedure that utilizes air pressure to test pipelines for leakage. This method not only identifies leaks but also cleans and dries the piping system, allowing the pipeline to go immediately back into services at the end of the test.
LEAK TESTING
Pneumatic Testing is a procedure that utilizes air pressure to test pipelines for leakage. This method not only identifies leaks but also cleans and dries the piping system, allowing the pipeline to go immediately back into services at the end of the test.
PIGGING
This method of pipeline cleaning is accomplished by propelling low or high density, polyurethane or wire brush pigs through a line with compressed air, inert gas or the existing products within the system. The pigs can accomplish a wide variety of tasks including heavy scrapping, liquid/solid removal, line drying and pipeline inspections.
PIPELINE GAUGING
Pipeline Gauging is carried out to provide the dimensional quality of the internal diameter of pipeline. Pipeline filling (Flooding)- which can be carried out by propelling pigs through the pipeline with water free flooding with water (normally for smaller or unpiggable pipelines).
FLUSHING
Flushing can be accomplished by pumping water into a line at a specific rate of product removal. Water can be then by pumped, blown or drained from line.
HYDRO BLASTING
This method utilizes a Bi-directional nozzle to cut through build-up within pipeline and move it towards the point of insertion for easy removal.
HYDRO TESTING
Hydro testing is a process in which the pipeline is pressure tested to a predefined pressure above the operating design pressure of the pipeline.
DEWATERING
This involves pushing pigs through the pipeline propelled by a gas to remove the water prior to startup.
AIR DRYING
Air Drying is a process of removing moisture from the inner surfaces and coatings of pipeline by using air. Air drying prevents rusting and corrosion of pipelines. After a successful hydro-test the water must be removed from the pipe or tank prior to the introduction of product. Whilst this is sometimes done by displacing the water directly with product, in most cases the water is removed separately by dewatering by air. This is particularly the case where the services required by EEC.
NITROGEN PURGING AND LAY UP
Nitrogen Purging is utilized for the replacement of Hazardous or undesirable atmosphere with an inert dry atmosphere. Nitrogen ‘purging’ is the replacement of n undesired atmosphere by the inert gas nitrogen. During the commissioning of a plant, the replacement of air by purging with nitrogen is familiarly known as ‘oxygen freezing’ or ‘startup purging’. During a turn around, the replacement of hydrocarbon atmosphere with nitrogen is familiarly known as ‘degassing’ or ‘shutdown purging’.
DEMOLISHING
EEC has the ability to demolish a wide variety of structures utilizing heavy equipment’s, torches and demolition saws;
Some of these structures are listed below:
- 1. Above ground/Underground Storage Tanks
- 2. Piping Systems, Cross Country Pipelines, etc...
- 3. Commercial and residential Structures.
- 4. Concrete tanks, Building’s, etc...
